Keeping your record up-to-date

Over the last number of weeks, we have been asking members that have not already done so to update their identification records.

The primary reason we ask for this information is so our credit union is fully compliant with national guidelines on anti-money laundering legislation.

Now we know this can be a bit of a hassle and we also know that for some members, their loyalty should be their identification. In fact, in some cases, we can fully appreciate that members may consider the request a little impersonal and for this, we apologise.

Unfortunately, the request is part of a national, even a pan-EU and global drive to ensure that the banking system and depositors funds are safe. As you may have seen over the course of the last few weeks, we have been actively encouraging our members to update their records if they have not done so already. And for a limited time (up until May 31, 2017), if you update your records (proof of ID, proof of address), you will be entered to win one of four €100 One2All vouchers.

Please keep in mind that you can update your records by visiting your local branch or if you prefer, uploading your records by using our new document upload facility through your online account at www.aviationcu.ie. This is a fast and secure way to update your account.

We wish to thank you for your continued loyalty and as always, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
